In order to be able to enroll in this program, candidates must take at least 55 points from the numerical score of the Academic Postgraduate Placement Examination (ALES) conducted centrally by the Measurement Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The principles for accepting foreign students are determined by the Senate.
In order to be successful in the foreign language, candidates must take at least 40 points from YDS or equivalent points from any of the foreign language exams validated by the Inter-University Council. Those who apply to the programs for which the preparatory class is required for graduate education and those who succeed in the preparatory class in undergraduate education are not required.
In the master's program entrance exam, the grade of achievement must be at least 65 points. The success grade is the sum of 50% of the relevant ALES score, 30% of the undergraduate achievement grade and 20% of the interview grade. Success scores of students who do not enter the interview are not calculated.
Candidates whose achievement score is 65 or higher in the master's program are ranked according to their scores starting from the highest. Candidates in the quota receive a definitive registration for the programs they apply to.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Students enrolled in the department may request to be exempted from the courses they have achieved in equivalent programs of higher education institutions that they have studied previously. To do this, they must submit the approved transcript and course content to the relevant unit within one week after the registration week with a petition.

To be successful in at least eight courses, one seminar course and thesis study with a total of twenty-four (24) credits, to complete at least 120 ECTS credits in a maximum of six semesters, including not less than 60 ECTS credits in a school year, including seminar courses and thesis studies.

Access to Further Studies

Graduates who successfully completed the Master's Degree (second cycle) may apply to doctorate (third cycle) programs in the same or in related disciplines. Candidates who have successfully completed postgraduate studies can study graduate (PhD) programs with obligated requirement score from the Academic Staff and Graduate Study Education Exam (ALES) and The Interuniversity Board Foreign Examination (YDS).

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Exams consist of midterm, final and makeup exams. Other than the exams quizzes, projects, homeworks and other activities that the instructor deems appropriate can be carried out. The number of these activities and the contribution to the course grades are stated in the course plan by the teaching staff. Examinations can be done in written, oral, written and oral or practical. All exams are evaluated over 100 points and converted to letter grades by the system. Success grade is calculated by taking the percentages of midterm exams and other activities determined by the instructor provided that it exceeds 50% of the contribution of the final exam. The student must receive at least a CC letter grade in a lesson to be successful.

Facilities

The Nursing Department of infrastructure and laboratory facilities is as follows: The department has 9 classrooms and projector is available in all classrooms. There are two skills lab for students' laboratory practices. In the skills labs, there are two item adult models, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation model which making the heart and breathing massage, model of anatomy, skeletal, the model of episiotomy, models of bimanual examination, newborn care and treatment models, models of birth, microscope, simulation model, blood pressure measuring instruments, degrees, scales, and so on. gadgets allowing basic nursing practices (Vascular access opening, making the injection, catheter and tube applications into body cavities etc.). There is a library, gym, conference hall, coffee shop and tennis tables in the cafe nursing students benefit.
