To register to graduate programs, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and take the score of not less than 55 points about the applied programme in the Academic Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) centrally organized by Measurement Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). To be successful in the foreign language, candidates must take at least 40 points in Public Personnel Foreign Language Proficiency Examination (KPDS) or the Public Personnel Foreign Language Proficiency Examination (YDS). Entrance exams for the grade programs must be at least 65 points. Passing grade is the sum of the 50% of the ALES exam, 30% of the grade license score and 20% interview. Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

The students of the Division have the right to request the recognition of their prior learning at different universities. For the recognition of their prior learning, they should submit their transcript and course contents to the relevant department within the next week of their registration year. Qualification Requirements and Regulations
|

The program consists of at least eight courses, not less than 24 local credits, a seminar course and thesis study. The master's degree program consists of compulsory and elective courses. The total ECTS credit of the program is 120. Besides the midterm and final exams, learning activities such as reports, assignments, quizzes, seminar presentations and project studies in the lessons can be used in the performance evaluation of the student during the semester. The seminar course and thesis work are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful according to the local credit system. The student must complete 120 ECTS in six semesters.

These research-intensive programs are complemented by courses on selective topics in Agricultural Sciences. The courses for all levels are taught by department teaching staff and outside lecturers from other departments.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
|
:
|
Students are required to take a mid-term examination and/or complete other assigned projects/homework during the semester and, additionally, are required to take a final examination and/or complete a final project for course evaluation. The final grade is based on the mid-term examination grade, the final examination grade and/or evaluation of final project, with the contributions of 40% and 60%, respectively. To pass any course, a Master's student must receive at least 70 out of 100. Students must repeat courses they have failed or may substitute courses the Department accepts as equivalent. The assessment for each course is described in detail in “Individual Course Description”. Success grade is converted to a letter grade via Relative grade system. In order for a student to be considered successful in a course, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade.

To be successful in master's program, the student must take at least eight courses with minimum 24 credits worth, one seminar and thesis study. The student must also complete at least 120 ECTS credits in a maximum of six semesters, including not less than 60 ECTS credits in an academic year with seminar and thesis study.
