History : Manisa Celal Bayar University Manisa Vocational School Electronics and Automation Department was first opened in the 2016-2017 academic year with the Mechatronics Program and Since the academic year of 2017-2018 education began. Sector Applications Education Model (3 + 1) is applied in Mechatronics program.
Qualification Awarded : PreBachelor, Mechatronics,
Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) : Pre Bachelor
Specific Admission Requirements : Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and the score of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (TYT), which has a score of sufficient score, indicates that they are placed in the relevant department.

In addition to these conditions, the GPA should be at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
Profile of The Programme : The aim of mechatronics education is to train technicians who can develop modern and intelligent products on the basic engineering disciplines by using the technology of tomorrow.
The mechatronics technicians of the future will be able to choose the necessary technologies and to develop the people who can easily move between different main engineering branches (machinery, electricity and computer science) and solve these problems with the best approach.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : 1.Machinery-Mechatronics Machinery Running Companies
2. In research and development laboratories as R & D technician,
3. As a technician in charge of finance and marketing due to basic technical training,
4. In the manufacturing industry as a technician responsible for planning, manufacturing and quality control
5. In the energy sector as technician responsible for design, operation, planning, maintenance and logistics
6. In the textile sector as technician responsible for design, planning and maintenance
Access to Further Studies : Graduated students can transfer to the undergraduate programs related to the machine with the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) and to some departments through open education.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : At least one midterm and one final exam are held for each course. Except for midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities deemed appropriate by the instructor can be done. The number of these activities and their contribution to the grade are indicated by the instructor in the course plan. Achievement grade is evaluated by relative evaluation system and converted to letter grade. In order for a course to be considered successful, the student must have at least a CC grade. Students with at least 2.00 hours of GANO (DC) and (DD) letter grade is also considered successful in the courses.
Students are required to graduate for a maximum of three courses, or (FD) or recent (FD) failures, but students whose GPA falls below 2.00 (DD), (DC) or (CC) grade three courses are given the right to additional examinations. The grade from the additional exams replaces the success grade. Students benefit from additional exam rights at the end of each semester.
Graduation Requirements : To be successful in all the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), to obtain a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to complete the Sector Applications Training.
