History : The Faculty of Business Administration was established through the publication of the Declaration of the Council of Ministers dated 25/06/2012 and numbered 2012/3363 dated 04/08/2012 and numbered 28374 and the program started teaching and learning in English in 2016-2017 academic year.

Specific Admission Requirements : To have high school and and their equivalents diploma and to get enough points from LYS TM-1 type of Undergraduate Placement Exam conducted by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM)
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students enrolled in the program and those who come in the horizontal and vertical transitions can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the relevant committees and the courses approved by the Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : Students must obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully pass all courses on the programme (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS)
Profile of The Programme : The Department of Business Administration program is aimed at educating tomorrow’s managers and entrepreneurs who are provided with knowledge and skills, in the view of intensive global competition. Accordingly the Business Administration undergraduate education executes theoretically and practically with the aim of bringing flexible state of mind and making students successful at the global competitive environment. In the first two years of the program students take lessons about economics, business, public finance, mathematics, statistics, law and computer technology in order to get basic information. In the following two years, students can choose lessons provide them the chance of specializing in “Accounting and Finance”, “Management and Organization”, “Productions Management and Marketing”, “Quantitive Methods”. The Business Administration program intends to cultivate the tomorrow’s managers and business executives for business life at public and private sectors via a contemporary education program. According to the program the last period has passed our college intern education system, students first period throughout industry, in companies operating in trade and services sectors will have the opportunity to synthesize theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : The students who graduate from the Business Administration Programme will have a broad perspective on operation of businesses, functions and desicion precesses. Our graduates can work in a variety of management positions at public and private sectors. They can serve in marketing-sales, money and capital markets, banking and insurance, financing, financial institutions, international trade (import-export), purchasing, accounting – financial advising, public relations, production and planning, management consulting, human resources management, customs brokerage fields. As a result of Business Administration program, entrepreneurs of the future are trained.
In addition, graduate alumni, can take part as academic staff in the universities after completing master’s degree.
Access to Further Studies : Graduates holding a Bachelor's (first cycle) degree are eligible to apply to a Masters (second cycle) degree program at national level and/or international level both in the same and in related disciplines.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Students are assessed whether they are successful or not from the courses they have taken in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems appropriate can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the instructor. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Success grade is converted to letter grade with relative evaluation. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered to be successful in grades. Students who do not have a failed course, but whose GANO is below 2.00, must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) to get their GANOs above 2.00 in order to graduate.





Graduation Requirements : In order to obtain a graduate degree in the field of business, students must successfully complete all required and elective courses (total of 240 ECTS) which must be taken in the program and achieve a CGPA of at least 2.0 over 4.00 out of 4.00. In addition, it is necessary to successfully complete the sector practice (intern) in the 8th semester.

Facilities :
Department consists of 5 Assistant Professors and 3 Research Assistants. Education seen places, has been designed in the smart class format which has the technical facilities like computer, projection and so on. There is also a hot-cold air conditioning system in the auditoriums. Computer classes and practices within the scope of the implementation of the program will be carried out using 1 Computer Lab is available in our faculty. It also established a finance lab.
