History : Hasan Ferdi Turgutlu Technology Faculty was established in Manisa Celal Bayar University on 08.03.2012. Energy Systems Engineering Program has started undergraduate education in 2016-2017 academic year.

Specific Admission Requirements : To have a high school and a balanced school diploma and to obtain sufficient points from the relevant area of the Undergraduate Placement Examination (LYS) made by the Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (OSYM).
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : An exemption examination is made from the courses approved by the relevant unit's recommendation senate. An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the relevant committees and the courses approved by the Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : Students must have successfully completed a minimum of 240 credits in total according to the European Credit Transfer System and must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 in order to graduate from the undergraduate program. Apart from this, the student must have completed the compulsory internship stated in the program and the Training of Sectoral Applications in the stated time and quality.
Profile of The Programme : The aim of the program is to give qualifications related to all hardware, design, production, control and operation of energy systems, which are needed by the private sector and state institutions, and to teach basic engineering principles with theoretical and practical aspects. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical training through the Training of Sectoral Applications during compulsory and optional internships. It is aimed to educate engineers who produce reliable service for employer and customer, who serve in the fields of expertise to keep the safety, health, wellbeing and dignity of the society at the forefront while the candidates fulfill their professional duties.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Field graduates from the Department of Energy Systems Engineering can be employed in design, production, quality control, maintenance-repair and sales-marketing departments to design and produce energy systems systems and to work in automation technology fields. In addition, our graduates can work in the private sector, public and municipalities, and continue their graduate studies in other universities in Turkey or around the world.
Access to Further Studies : Students who graduate from this program can apply to the relevant postgraduate or postgraduate doctoral programs.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Students are assessed whether they are successful or not from the courses they have taken in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the teaching staff. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. The note that the student gets when calculating the success grade is converted to the letter grade in the relative system.In order for a student to be regarded as successful, a student must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take. Students who do not have a failed course, but whose GANO is below 2.00, must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) to get their GANOs above 2.00 in order to graduate.
Graduation Requirements : In order to graduate from the program, it is necessary to achieve all the courses available (240 ECTS credits), to obtain at least 2.0 GANO out of 4.00 and to complete compulsory internships.

Facilities : There are 4 classrooms for 60 students and 1 classroom for 54 students. In addition to this, there are 3 computer laboratories with 36 + 1 units "all in one" computer with İ3 and İ5 operator and mechatronics and manufacturing laboratories.
