History : Institute of Health Sciences Physical Education and Sports PhD program was established in 09.06.2005 ( /1353-11918).
Qualification Awarded : The graduates who successfully complete the program are given a diploma of Physical Education and Sports PhD Science Specialist.
Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) : Doctorate
Specific Admission Requirements : In order to apply for the PhD program, candidates must have a bachelor's or graduate diploma.

At least 55 ALES score in the score type of the program applied by the candidates applying with a master's degree, at least 55 ALES score of the program applied by the candidates who apply for undergraduate degree and at least 3 points in the system of 100 or 4 of the undergraduate graduation grade average system .
The doctoral program entrance exam success grade must be at least 65. The success grade is the sum of 50 %of the relevant ALES score, 30 %of the undergraduate achievement grade and 20 %of the interview exam grade. The success grade of the students who do not interview is not calculated.
Candidates with a success score of 65 or more in doctoral programs are ranked starting from the highest according to their scores. Candidates within the quota are entitled to register for the programs they apply for.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students who enroll in the department may request exemption from the courses they have achieved in the equivalent programs of the higher education institutions they have previously studied.
