Exams of exemption are organised at the start of term at the University for courses compulsory in the curriculum, such as Foreign Languages. The students who achieve a passing grade from these exams are held exempt from the related course in the curriculum, and this grade is entered into the transcript of the student. In addition, transfer students who have taken courses that students completed the learning process, they will be successful in this course.

The Mining Programme aims to offer applicants in the sector; - to have a concept of knowledge and ability and manage applications using appropriate tools, - to find solutions to unpredictable problems in working environment, - to know basic computer practice and use mining-related software programs, - to have information about occupational safety, environmental protection, social responsibility and ethical values.

As a responsible technician; 1. for the extraction of minerals in open and the underground mines, 2. for processing of run-off minerals in mineral processing plants, 3. in research and development laboratories (R & D), 4. during the rock and soil mechanics researches, water and foundation drillings and in engineering offices, 5. in related areas of finance, marketing and leasing sectors.

Our graduates may have further education, transition with DGS exams, in Mining Engineering, Geophysical Engineering, Geological Engineering. Furthermore they may have a degree through Open Education faculty.

Graduation Requirements

Completing all necessary courses (120 ECTS) successfully during the permitted period on condition that at least 2.00 Cumulative GPA (Grade Point Average) and 40 working days of trainings are required.

Full-Time, learning-centred, visually supported narration method is applied. Many of the courses are supported in lab or field applications.
