Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
:
Whether the students are successful in the courses they have taken is evaluated in two stages: a midterm (midterm exam) and a final (final exam). Apart from midterm exams, quizzes, projects, homework, research and other activities deemed appropriate by the instructors can be done. The number of these activities and their contribution to the success grade are indicated by the instructor in the lesson plan. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. 40% of the visa and 60% of the final exam make up the success grade. Success grade is converted into letter grade with the relative grading system. In order for a student to be considered successful in a course, he / she must get CC as a minimum letter grade. Students whose GPA is at least 2.00 are also considered successful from the courses they took (DC) and (DD) grades. Students who do not have unsuccessful courses but whose GPA is below 2.00 must first take their (DC) and (DD) courses again and increase their GPA above 2.00 in order to graduate.
